Welcome! Wildsome Gardens offers seeds for a colourful selection of native and heirloom flowers, grasses, and woodies. Native species add beauty and wildlife value to all styles of garden, and are naturally hardy to a variety of soil types and growing conditions. We also offer a selection of rare heirloom vegetable and herb seeds.

We grow a selection of native plants and heirloom vegetable seedlings for sale in the spring.

You can shop on-line for our seeds, or if you prefer not to pay on-line, you can use the "Add to Cart" button to create an order or wish list that you can print, and then fax or mail in.

Print or Download a PDF Catalogue:You can customize our catalogue so that you download or print only the categories and plant details you are interested in reading about. This saves paper and your printer cartridge. Click on the "catalogue" tab above, then click on "Print Catalogue" tab on the left-hand side of the page.

What's New for 2010

Our 2010 catalogue will be ready soon - we're late this year but the changes are coming:

As we make changes to our 2010 catalogue, you may notice fewer available native plant seeds in this year's selection. We are looking for more local sources, and will increase our selection of native plant seeds as those sources are located.

We've added a few new varieties of heirloom vegetables to our collection we know will add colour, flavour, and pizzaz to your meals. We'll be entering them into the catalogue over the next few weeks and will be done toward the end of January.

"Sustainably Grown"

You'll notice some of our seeds have the term "Sustainably grown" (SG) in the description of the variety in the catalogue. Please click on the "About Us" tab at the top of the page for information about how we grow on our farm, and the meaning of SG as it appears in the catalogue.

Seedy Saturdays

We'll be at some Seedy Saturday (or Sunday) events in our area of Ontario. We'll keep you posted about where we'll be and when. For a complete schedule of Seedy Saturday events in Canada, go to the Seeds of Diversity website: www.seeds.ca.

Have fun seed shopping this winter - we know we will!
