We guarantee that our plants will be fresh and healthy at the time of purchase or delivery, and true to their scientific names. There are many things that can happen to a plant once it leaves the nursery that we don't have control of, such as where the plant is sited, the weather, how often it is watered or fed, or whether a bug devoured it. Plants should therefore be thoroughly inspected at the time of purchase, or upon delivery, and claims must be made at that time. Damaged or diseased plants will be replaced with the same species if it available, or suitable alternative, or money will be refunded. While we cannot replace plants that became diseased or died subsequent to selling them, we would like to know if you had difficulty growing one of our plants. We'll do our best to help you take a second run at it, or choose another suitable species for your growing conditions.
Our seed is open-pollinated. Occasionally cross-pollination will occur and produce plants not true to type. Our seed is guaranteed to be untreated and fresh. Seed packets contain amounts indicated in the catalogue and come with complete germination instructions. There are many factors that impact whether a seed will germinate that we do not have control of, so we make no claims as to the productiveness of the seeds; however, if you followed the germination instructions and had difficulty with the seed, please let us know. As is customary in the seed trade, we limit our liability in all instances to the purchase price of the seed package, and not to any resulting crops, and will offer you a replacement pack if available, or a similar species. If these terms and conditions are not acceptable, please immediately return the unopened package of seed for a full refund. Acceptance and use of the seed constitutes buyer acknowledgement of the conditions of sale and the limitations of this guarantee.
The descriptions and information given about plants and seeds in our catalogue or on our seed packages which relate to species, cultivars, their characteristics, uses, hardiness or germination requirements are given for general guidance and interest only. Any descriptions given regarding the possible medicinal properties of plants are given for interest only and do not in any way constitute medical advice or otherwise.
